No, they’re just a poultry farm, based in Pune, Maharashtra.
I live just 100 km away from Pune and I’d never heard of them before the takeover….
They’ve already said they won’t be pouring lots of money.
On the contrary a young Mumbai businessman Saurin Shah wanted to invest 300 million in Blackburn, but they rejected the offer.

Manchester City are the richest club in the world because of who their owners are.
in terms of revenue generated, they make peanuts compared to say Barcelona, Ac Milan or Mancehster United for that matter.
I mean as a global marketable brand - they’re only now being born.
In South East Asia and beyond, Liverpool and Manchester United are the two most widely supported English clubs in those areas, why ?
well both clubs actualy have had historical sides with great players well before the Premier League came into existence and have had legends playing for their clubs well before the NKOTB arrived.
Also Liverpool vs Manchester United I think, might be ‘THE fixture’ in the English Premier League Calendar that whips up a state of euphoria, excitement, adreniline rush and apprehension abroad unlike no other fixture in our calander because even in far out places like those, the rivalry between these two is felt. When we lose to them, millions of diehard Pool fans feel what LFC fans in Engalnd feel.
When we beat them, they can understand what we feel and vice versa. Some are actualy insane. Some Arsenal fan in Nigeria fecking hung himself after his side got beaten by United in the CL….sighs.
went off topic a bit there with the Nigerian fan, but its not really about having the same about of wealth that Man Citys owners have.
its about using what you have resourcefuly and wisely and then trying to see positive results out on the pitch and creating a health business model for your football club.
Also a clubs ambition where it wants to be in 10 to 15 yeras time.
Thats what attracts big names. not just great wages.
the big names that go to whoever pays the most arent always the best players….they’re lazy sometimes and inconsistent.
