a rose within a heart shaped box…and playing her the song "heart shaped box" by nirvana on my acoustic guitar when i give her the gift…cause its one of her favorite bands…..for valentines day.=)

Well sinse my birthday always falls around (or on) mothers day mum n I just do something quiet together. This year we’re walking down to the beach, grab some fish n chips, take the dogs for a swim and hang out for the day.
We’re not big on celebrating or doing anything too special just lunch and a chat really.

I got my mum perfume and my MIL a hand sewing machine.

My daughter is taking us to get a pedicure. I can’t wait! What an awesome gift.

I got her a funny talking card and the book "Sh*t My Dad Says". She mentioned it once and said it reminded her of her dad. So I got it for her, except its not coming till later this week. But I know she’ll love it.
