   There’s really no one answer for this question, it all depends on how much work you’re willing to put into it. Will you work part time or full time? What direct sales company are you with or looking at? Are you good at following up with people and showing them you are someone they can trust to care about their needs?

   I own a couple direct sales businesses and thanks to the money I’m making from that I am quitting my "day job" this summer. I make $500-$1000/week working 20hrs/wk, but I’ve also stuck with it for 2 years and built up a strong client base and repeat customers. I haven’t put as much time into building a team yet, but that’s a whole other source of income you can receive as well.
