   I don’t think he always did, but now he’s so famous he’s like a tourist attraction I think Times Square definetely would miss out if he wasnt there anymore. So I’m sure he does get paid to entertain I don’t know from who but if he didnt get paid who then would want to wake up every day dress like a cowboy in men’s bikini underwear and stand outside thru all of our seasons of weather of NYC I sure as hell wouldn’t lol Plus he’s sexy lol

   There is a donation cup there and I am sure he does OK. He has been at it for over twenty years.

   Plus he does get occasional exposure (no pun intended) on TV which is probably worth a few bucks to him as well.

   He makes some money, but he does it just to be noticed. May be an ego thing.
