what is a good way for a twelve and/or thirteen year old to make money. babysitting, raking lawns, shoveling snow, house sitting?!?! that doesn’t work half the time! no one asks you to help! i need some legit jobs to make money!

    Sorry, but you really can’t get an ‘actual’ job when you are this young. Child labor laws stipulate that employers can’t hire someone younger than 15 or 16 (depending on what state you’re in). However, you can still ask around; try your local library and see if they need a shelver. It helps if you act mature and intelligent.

    Babysitting is a greaaat way. You just have to get yourself out there! Make buisness cards and go door to door handing them out to your neighbors. Temporarily voluenteer at a local daycare service… And remind the kids parents every time they pick up there children that you babysit. Get one or two families to use you as their main babysitter…. And you will make bankkk(= I promise!

    ummm i dont think it is legal for you to work due to child labor laws so you may have to wait a couple years…but if you live in the south and you live near a zaxbys they hire at 14 with minimum hours and minimum wage
