I was pregnant for the majority of 2009 and didn’t work so really all together I only made about $2,000 for the whole year (possibly less). I know that you can get up to 3,000+ for claiming one child if you made under a certain amount.. but my sister said she thinks you have to make atleast 10,000 or something to beable to get as much as 3,000… is this true? I’ve been trying to find this out for months now.

You’d have to make more than $2000 to get $3000 - maybe more like earnings of $6000. With only $2000 from working for the year, you might get $689.
