I need to know the ins and outs of making money with cash notes. There is only one guy who is promoting it on YouTube which made me skeptical. If it is so lucrative, then why aren’t there more people doing it? What is the catch? What is so hard about the business?

You make money by buying notes at a discounted price. This happens when the note holder needs their money now and is willing to accept less principal. These notes are usually collateralized by some type of property.

You didn’t say who the person was, which makes it hard to answer this question. However, the person most famous for pushing the idea of selling cash notes is Russ Dalbey. I am highly suspicious of his methods. Below is a link criticizing his methods.
