Way to Survey-Way to make money at home, paid surveys

Im australian and im thinking of becomming a fitter and turner, Do they make good money is the work good?
Is there any websites that have information of this proffession?

   In the city you would make about 30/hr. On construction about 40. Go somewhere remote like North West Australia you can make about 55/hr.
   So yeah if your willing to put the hours in you would start at about 60000/ year and if you go fly in/ fly out can earn up to 150-200000 a year.
