I am currently working on my chemistry degree when recently I decided that I want to work with animals. I don't want to be a vet for the same reasons I don't want to be a doctor (can't handle the blood and nastiness). I would really love to work in a zoo or something but I also want to make good money since my plan was to go on and get my phd in chemistry and become a research scientist. I really want to be happy in my career but I also want to make good money since I'm already pretty far in debt with my student loans.
