Is it unfair that sports players even make more than law enforcement and fire fighters? Or mostly any other job.

    nope its not fair. Thats just the way life is (;

    I don't. The athletes only make that much money because so many people are willing to pay to watch them. A salary is determined by the number of people that can do the job, and the revenue that that job brings in.

    Let's face it, while cops and firefighters are vital to have, it's not particularly difficult to be one and the job is fairly cushy the majority of the time.

    When you think about it, they worked so hard to get where they are now. They had to compete with millions of other people and they managed to get to the top of the pile. The money is just a reward.

    in a way yer coz they don't do anything useful but then looking at how much time they spend training then maybe they do coz it is tiring training that much! but maybe not so much money!

    I do think it's a little unfair. I think they should raise the pay for people who do jobs that are so important to our society (like fire fighters, police men, etc.). But also, the sports players, as one of the answers said, do work very hard to get where they are.
