I just lost my job & it was totally unexpected, i am not even going to receive another payment. I can't afford to pay anything to get started. I just want to fill out surveys & make whatever little bit of money i can to get by for the next few weeks.
I'm doing a paper for my criminal justice class and I need to know what people think about a program that I am developing.
1. Do you think it is important that at least 1 in 4 of your police officers are able to speak and understand Spanish?
2. Would you agree with a program that offers incentives ($100 each week, or $5,000 per year) to police officers who learn to speak Spanish or already speak it?
Any other opinions?
Thank you, much appreciated
C - I agree but my paper is just relating to Hispanic populations. Even though there are a lot of Portuguese speakers, do you think that 1 in 4 is enough for Spanish speaking police officers? Too much?

I made very little money in 2008. About $700 at one job and then did promotional work where I was considered an "independent contractor" and earned about another $700. I received a W2 for my job and a 1099-MISC for the promotional work. As I understand, I know have to file a schedule C where it turns out I will end up owing about $100.
How is this possible if I made so little money? I also attended and paid for college in 2008 and received a 1098-T that indicated my total amounts billed was about $10,000. Can I use an education credit to get out of paying the $100? How does this work?
I am a full time student and I need to make money but not sure if I can keep up with school work if I get a job. Anyone have any suggestions for how I can make a decent amount of money with little time involvement?
I really want a nintendo dsi!!!!!!!! I already know about kidzeyes.
Just wondering… Do they really pay or are they just gathering your data and then get lost upon receiving it?
Please help, I have been searching and there are a million offers but I do not know which one you can really trust.
And take you higher?
Do you think that someone should/should not get married at 19/20 and why? and If they did, when should they start on their first baby, assuming everything is going good job and living wise?
well obviously i am 19,and i got married December 31st,2008. my husband is 20. he works and i am going through college, and he will be doing Tech school soon. We're very lucky in the fact that my mother and her family told us that we HAVE to stay here while we go through college and the like. Neither of us has to worry about the partying and clubbing phase,it's not our scene. We would rather sit home with each other or do something together that doesn't include a lot of people. and i asked about the baby just because i was wondering, i know i'm not financially stable enough for one yet, and i am already taking care of my 2 year old niece due to my sisters circumstances, and she is hard enough to deal with at the moment. thank you all for your answers!!!
