Way to Survey-Way to make money at home, paid surveys

I recently read an article online naming a few unique ways children can make money. One of the ways was taking online surveys.

Are kids allowed to take them? Is it safe? Are there any risks?

What do you think of the survey site? Should I allow my sister to try it? (she's 13).

No need to answer all the questions. I don't want stupid answers. But I really do need to know more about this. If any one knows a young child who does this please let me know. And if you know any websites like this you suggest. This question is pretty much open to opinions, suggestions, and critiques about the subject.

umm, im PRETTY sure "pirates" wasnt an option, but wut evs! =]

I work at a university in music. It's a fun job and pretty easy and laid back. However, there's NO opportunity for advancement. I've been there for 9 years and my salary has barely gone up. It's about 36,000/yr. I wouldn't mind getting out of the music field and just doing some regular job. I apply but I think when people see my resume they brush it off because I have all these music administration skills. It's weird because I daydream about opening my own store, being an exterminator, being a truck driver, home inspector, etc. I wouldn't even mind doing something in my own town but can't picture the money in any of those being close to what I make already. Any suggestions on what I should do?

My wife works with a catering company and she's constantly getting nice big raises and opportunities. I haven't gotten a raise in almost 3 years because the union has been fighting with the university. It's pathetic! I also have a child and one more on the way. What would you do if you were me?

Oh, and there's no time for a part time job because of the weird work hours my wife has.
