Im just curious on how these groups who put subtitles on asian dramas make money. Do they work for a website????? If so, how much money do they earn????

I just came across while looking for job opprtunities a thing that said 'get paid 50$-75$ for taking surveys'. I have heard of people doing it, is it too good to be true? a scam? is there a catch? Anyone done surveys successfully before? What sites are trustworthy?
