I have Microsoft Visual Basic. I might also download OpenOffice.org Basic. What do I choose?
Are you allowed to make money off programs that you make in Visual Basic? - Update

I am using Visual Basic 2005 Express. I registered for free and don't have a licence.

Yes, you can sell your software made with Visual Studio. You are just not allowed to distribute any debug libraries or use their sample code if you do.

I sure hope so - I've been doing it for years. (Yes - as long as all you distribute is your program and the distributable library and controls. For instance, if you use Office controls, you're not allowed to distribute them.)

Only on vesions which you purchased a license. The free and educational versions (express , limited trial & learning editions(VB6)) specifically prohibit use for commercial purposes.
