Way to Survey-Way to make money at home, paid surveys

My friend got a survey in the mail with $2 in 3 weeks ago. He took and mailed it back, then 2 days ago he got another survey in the mail with $30 in it. Now my other friend is doing the same thing and none of them signed up for anything. They have no internet access. What tv company pays you cash in the mail to do tv surveys?
