i am very good at listening to people and giving good advice about relationship difficulties and mental health problems. i enjoy it too.
how can i start to offer my services, free to start with, then perhaps for a fee? would i have to make my own website? can i use a blog, and how? how can i keep my costs to a minimum (idealy free to start with).
Note:Although i am very well read, i dont have any certificates or formal training or education in psychology.

You have a great skill and could turn that into a profitable blog. Just throwing some ideas out here, but start your blog ( you can do it for free at Blogger.com or Wordpress. Blog daily about things people ask you about, and give answers as if you are talking to that person. Monetize your site by adding Adsense, adding Amazon books or such that match your topic, Clickbank or Commission Junction, etc. Very easy to do with the above sites.
Your goal should be to get as much traffic to your site as you can, then you could even begin to set up an auto-responder campaign with a newsletter that you do. You might either charge a subscription to the newsletter or make it free and offer advertising space.
For a great resource on how to make money from blogging, go to my source link below and read the article. In the article you will find a link to a free ebook from a guy in Australia who is making 6 figures with his blog. It took him some time to do, but it is real, it can be done.
