Hi, I recently graduated from a major university with a bachelors in music performance and possibly due to laziness, and partly the economy, I am working at a Starbucks. I think the reality is that I never did certain things to get students, like performing demonstrations at local schools, or posting flyers, but I also applied to over a hundred jobs, complete with resumes and some with cover letters. The question then is this- should I spend more time working at Starbucks, or should I spend more time finding guitar students? Starbucks=minimum wage, guitar lessons=$40/hour. The payout is better, but is it realistic to find students right now? Any tips on how I can get people to sign up for guitar lessons?
