For example the commentators are worried about a run on Citigroup but it’s a bad place to have your money anyway regardless if it is insured or not. Banks depend on people not understanding how they make a profit and so does the government. The government should not encourage you to keep your money in Citigroup because it really isn’t a safe place for your money even if it is insured. Having a savings account is a sucker investment.
