my aunt wants me to tell her how much money i have in my savings account, and i don’t want to. i don’t feel like its any of her business. im 16 years old..do i have to tell her by law how much i have? if not how do i tell her that its none of her business…without having to have an argument.
ok is she able to tell me how im allowed to spend my money to?

If she is your gaurdian and you are a minor, then of course you have to tell her.
She is your “boss”. You do what she tells you.

Just go ahead and tell her and avoid the drama. Since she’s your guardian I imagine she can find out anyway with very little effort.

if she’s your legal guardian, she can go over your head and just get the info from the bank anyway.
BUT, you can manipulate that amount to a certain extent. you can take out money and make it look as small as you want to. or, if you have cash, you can throw that in there and make the balance higher. of course, after she’s done looking, just un-do whatever you did to manipulate the balance, and you’ll be back to where you started.
