If yes, then why is a woman a golddigger if she seeks a man who makes more than she does? Wouldn't that just be smart because men prefer to make more anyway?!

Ladies offer up your opinions too!
I've heard people refer to others as golddiggers when they want a man who makes more money than them. I have a friend that will soon be making $100,000 she's decided her man can make no less than $300,000, and people call her a golddigger, I don't but I've heard it said.

I could care less who makes more…. I care more about making each other happy.

I would like to make more because it's a cultural tradition for the past 5000 years but it really doesn't matter.
Also… A golddigger is someone who goes for a man JUST BECAUSE of his money.
I hope that clarified that for you =)

my opinion about a golddigger is a woman who rather used her body and looks to get what she wants, rather improving herself (education) and work for it.

when a woman is working and her salary is less than the guy she is dating is not a gold digger in my book. Now I want to point this out to you. Now if a guy flash his salary to attrach a woman who making less than him, telling her about all the things that he can do and get her if she is his girl/woman is not a golddigger. He is a jerk and hallow!
