A job is the only way to make money. As a teen, I remember doing a lot of things in food service. My favorite was probably working at a pizza shop due to the free pizza as well as the money

A way to make money is babysitting. Thats what i do! And it really pays off. Try finding a reliable person who trusts you that has like 1…. maybe 2 kids. The more kids the harder it gets though trust me! Just dont go overboard with the babysitting make sure your not cutting out on having fun!

Make up a paper on yourself.
I like to - mow grass, move boxes, weed gardens, make deliveries, walk dogs, house sit, water plants while away- write up a little paragraph about yourself and talents- caring, smart, easy to get along with- but be sure you are true to the statements you use., if you attend church, go to boy scouts, etc..-also add two personal references- preferably adults or people who know you and trust you.Ask your references that is okay that you use their name.
then photo it with you name, phone number (maybe even a nice picture of yourself) and deliver it around your neighborhood. You can always start there!
There may just be alot of people who could use your services. Especially elderly people - who really need help and need someone good to trust.
When you go for any interview- say- I like to work- and I will train to do anything- you will probably get hired to do something on the spot- but be sincere! trustworthy.
I've done that all my life and I get every job I have ever applied for - and I do like working and do enjoy learning new things- the more knowledge, the farther you will get in life!
Never burn your bridges- I mean, if you end up not liking what you end up doing- be truthful with the person and tell them you will try to allow them time to find someone else if they like - just dont up and quit. The person could be a good reference for you next time!
Allso,-check with your parents first. They might be very proud you are taking on some responsibilty!

mow lawns, babysit, help a farmer with harvest in the fall, talk with your parents about chores that are above and beyond what you are normally responsible for and see if they are willing to pay you for anything around the house or yard.
good luck!
