Way to Survey-Way to make money at home, paid surveys

I don't want to hear the copy/paste sales pitches. I want people who've done surveys and actually gotten paid from them to link me to a site.
I know, there are sites I can pay to sign up for that will weed out the fakes, but I can't afford it. Surely someone has paid and can tell me of a couple sites they were told about?
I've never found even one site that really pays. Maybe none of them work? I sure haven't had any luck.

and those ads that say u get paid for just visiting sites? is it for real? has anybody ever joined these and got paid for real? even yahoo and google endorses these ads..its hard to tell.
