Not to be heartless, but because you hated to see them suffer?

My dad went into the hospital again today, after falling down a lot upstairs in his room and the bathroom. His left side wasn't working that well. I kept asking him if he wanted help but he refused. He came down the stairs around 10am and fell the bottom flight. He's been sick a long time. He's in pain all the time. He's depressed because he's always in pain. He's barely existing.

I won't be on answers much, y'all. Just keep my family in your thoughts.

Update: He called to ask to come home, but his speech was slurred. I don't know what's going on. Mom left to get him about 30 minutes ago. I don't personally think he was LET go.

I haven't written a check in months! I avoid it at all costs.

Every time I google them I keep running into bogus-sounding sites that promise the moon for a small one time fee.

My friend is distraught. When he doesn't take meds for depression/anxiety he is off the chart. Basically he is very irresponsible, lives off friends away from home, sleeps most of the day but makes enough money to get by. I am very concerned about my friend who has two aged parents she's caring for, works fulltime, etc. She feels that if she distances herself from him and something happens to him she'll never forgive herself. She feels this is all her fault. I see it as an emotionally abusive situation. When he is nice things are great, when he is nasty, she is upset all over again. It's a vicious cycle. How can I help her? What advice would you give her?I

I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 15 month old. It wouldn't pay me to go back to work and hire someone to watch my kids. I would be lucky to break even. Money is getting tight and I was wondering if there was a way to make a little extra money working from home.
